WV: Time to Comment on Another Proposed Pipeline
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for Columbia Pipeline Group Inc.’s proposed Mountaineer XPress pipeline project. FERC uses the EIS to determine whether this project meets a threshold for "public convenience and necessity." You may comment by writing through December 17 or attend one of four public scoping meetings. More

Most often, landowners are referred to as stakeholders, but everyone who uses water is a stakeholder, because gas development takes a major toll on water resources. We are on the front lines of a war on our water, especially in the Marcellus/Utica/Rogersville region of Appalachia. More
