The cabins are perched on an ever-diminishing green island in a sea of extreme greed and lack of understanding of humanity's life support systems manifested as mountaintop removal / valley fill coal mining.

Down along Clear Fork, the mountain's demise is painful to watch. The community is devastatingly altered, the land and waters and life they support impoverished.
