It is our pleasure to present Kati Holland with our 2020 Community Keepers Award for Volunteer of the Year.

Kati is one of our amazing stream testing volunteers who helps with monitoring the Wayne County sites. She has also helped recruit participants for our pilot air quality monitoring project.

“Kati grew up in this area of Wayne County, and knows the territory well,” says Robin Blakeman, a project coordinator with the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition. “Her passion for preserving the air and water quality of this part of the state is evident in all she does.”

Kati is definitely doing all she can to make sure her community is as healthy as it possibly can be. Without dedicated volunteers like her, we could never boast so many victories since our beginnings in 1987.

Join us for a virtual celebration on September 9 at 7 p.m. to honor Kati and all our 2020 award winners. Click here for more information.
