The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) recently issued a statement of support for the Department of Energy’s report on the so-called “Petrochemical Renaissance” for our region.

In response, our allies got together and developed this sign-on letter to urge the ARC to support the people of Appalachia, not petrochemical companies. The deadline to add your signature is Thursday, July 16.

We don’t need more polluting industries in Appalachia, but we do need sustainable economic development strategies that provide long-term prosperity for people in our region.
