Okay, things are certainly tough and scary enough right now, but taking some seriously fun action might help alleviate some stress, so please check out what we have going on this month.

First though, the number one stress reliever right now? Vote, Vote, Vote. And help us with the #VoteWithPride early voting event this Saturday in Huntington. For info on how to help, email info@ohvec.org.

Spooktacular Events of the Month

We’re hosting our first-ever Monster Membership Drive and HallowGreen Spooktacular Celebration!

Our month-long membership drive is a campaign to demonstrate how committed our community is to winning campaigns that protect people and the environment. Not only is this an opportunity to build our power, it’s a celebration of what can happen when we work together–plus some spooky stories and chilling costumes.

You can join, renew or donate online here. To help build the drive this month, please ask at least three other people to join OVEC; we build power in numbers! We know times are tough for a lot of people right now, so we do have a pandemic-fee-waiver membership available.

When you ask people to join, please also invite them to check out our online events and invite them to our HallowGreen virtual party. Here’s what we have going on…

HallowGreen Costume Contest
We’ll have prizes for three categories: Funniest, Scariest, and Best Upcycled (costume from recycled items rather than purchased).
