It’s Today: OVEC’s Treehuggers’ Ball!

We sure hope you will come out today for our Treehuggers’ Ball.

This is a fundraiser for OVEC! Tickets are $40 at the door.

Volunteers with at least 10 hours of service to OVEC so far in 2018 get in free! 

Your ticket price includes great food from Bahnhof, including sausages (vegan and meat) and pretzels, both with an assortment of toppings, salads, and desserts.

Update: Due to Hurricane Florence, Elizabeth Catte can’t make it to OVEC’s Treehuggers’ Ball. We want her and everyone in Florence’s path to be safe! She has graciously sent us her excellent speech to share will you; a local author will read it and we’ll still make space for questions and discussion.

Even if we don’t have Elizabeth in person, we still have an incredible line up of musicians, bands–including BRATCAMB and Moonshine Crossing–and comedians. 

We have a raffle featuring an adventure package from Adventures on the Gorge, and more. 

You can win a prize when you take part in the Treehuggers costume contest. You can also get your art on by taking part in a group quilting activity. 

You will have a chance to meet all the staff and hear just a brief bit about our work. And, you will meet the winners of this year’s awards.

The event takes place today, September 15, 3 to 10 p.m. Of course, you can attend part or all of the event. Bring your appetite, come meet new friends, and come dance, all while supporting OVEC!
