Please Contact Your State Senators on the Co-Tenancy (Forced Pooling) Bill
HB 4268, a bill allowing for horizontal fracking under non-consenting property owners, passed out of the WV House of Delegates on February 15 with a 60 to 40 vote. Learn more here.

The bill will now go to the Senate Energy, Industry and Mining Committee, and then to the Senate Judiciary Committee. We urge you to call and/or email senators to let your voices be heard! Follow these links for contact information for both committees:

Sign On to Letter About Auction of Charleston Gazette-Mail
On behalf of its employees and its readers (including you!), are you feeling some sustained outrage about the bankruptcy and pending auction of the Charleston Gazette-Mail? If so, please sign on to this letter, and ask your family and friends to do so, too.

As of the morning of Monday, February 19, about 500 people had signed on. The deadline to sign is midnight (EST) on Friday, February 23.
