This Saturday, June 16, if you are in the Huntington area, we hope to see you for Tri-State Water Defense’s big day. Join us at Harris Riverfront Park at 8:45 a.m. to take part in the Ohio River Sweep, and at noon for the main event of the day, Radical Joy for the Ohio River: People Binding the Earth, the 2018 Global Earth Exchange. Come over to beautiful Ritter Park at 3 p.m. for the Huntington Pride Picnic, where Tri-State Water Defense will have have a table. Come have some (free!) food, and enjoy some rest and relaxation in good company. Then, on Monday, June 18, you are invited to join us in Charleston for Fair Courts 101: “Protecting Our Democracy”or in Pittsburgh, PA for PaddleAgainstPetroOn June 30, at our office in Huntington and at a nearby stream, we are hosting a stream monitoring training.
