Our long-time allies over at Catholic Committee of Appalachia have asked us, among others, to make certain we share news of their virtual annual gathering, happening September 17-19. This year’s theme is Making a Transition to a Just Economy, and you can see the program and list of speakers and register to attend here. 

We’ve been asked to share word of another interesting virtual event, taking place September 21-23: B.E. Hive: Behavioral Solutions to Water Pollution.

While we’ve been out in local communities in regards to placing air monitors (read some about this in this issue of WOC) and conducting interviews (outdoors and with physical-distancing measures), we do not have any in-person gatherings planned, due to the ongoing pandemic. We miss seeing you in person, for sure, and we do hope this issue of the newsletter catches you up on some of what has been going on.
