Remembering The WV Water Crisis: Film Screening + Discussion

Join us for an online event in remembrance of the Elk River chemical spill that occurred on January 9, 2014 when crude 4-Methylcyclohexanemethanol (MCHM) was released from a Freedom Industries facility into the Elk River, a tributary of the Kanawha River, in Charleston, WV.

OVEC Project Coordinator Dustin White will host a screening of “What Lies Upstream,” a documentary about the events surrounding the West Virginia Water Crisis, followed by a panel discussion about the film.
