The general news link page is
stored at the root level of the site under the name "news_gen.html"
rather than here as "index.html" (as logic would
dictate). The change facilitates daily updates (the person
doing the updates doesn't have to open several subfolders to find
the correct "index.html" file).
This page is primarily a reminder for persons involved in
site updates, so there are no links to this page. If you are
browsing the site and found this page, congratulations on your above
average understanding of URL manipulation, or at least your
